At Hano Academy, we are a team of high achievers, highly educated and committed individuals, comprising both Somalis and non-Somalis.

Our primary goal is to help Somalis by providing high-quality professional and language courses, as well as TVET skills training for the economic independence of our trainees.

Additionally, we aim to promote peacebuilding and social development, create jobs, and provide employment opportunities and business development services.

Our leadership structure sets priorities and drives our growth, commitment, and quality standards as an institution of higher education. Hano Academy is governed by a Board of Directors. The daily administration is managed by the executive team, which includes the Chancellor/CEO. We also have an independent International Advisory Board that advises the Chancellor. This board comprises both Somalis and non-Somalis, bringing diverse perspectives to our strategic planning.

From the Chancellor/CEO, we have a linear management style composed of upper-level Directors of Departments. The second level of leadership consists of Heads of Departments who work under their respective directors. Beneath the Heads of Departments, we have other staff members serving in various capacities within their departments.
